The Virtual Queuing System

The Virtual Queuing System has been devised by Showmasters and successfully used at all their events. The system enables you to get yourself in a queue without the need to queue for hours on end. It's simple by design, and can be compared to the deli counter ticket system at your local supermarket.

On arrival in the Autograph Zone you simply find a member of staff assigned to the actor's queue that you wish to get an autograph for. They will give you a ticket with a number on. Throughout the day, at various times, numbers will go up depending on how fast the actor is signing - once your number is below the ‘up to number’ displayed, you may join the queue - once you are in the queue you should only experience a short wait before you get your autograph.

The procedure in three simple steps

1. Go to the Autograph Zone, we advise you make this a first stop when you arrive at the venue to get a good low VQ number.

2. Keep an eye on the boards for the ‘up to numbers’ being called for the actor of your choice.

3. Once your number meets the ‘up to number’ on display you just hand your ticket to the member of staff and they will allow you to join the queue.

Open Queue

There is also the chance that once all numbers are called there is still time for guests to continue to sign items, in these instances the guests will go to Open Queue - when you see this written by the actors name then you are free to join the queue even if you do not have a VQ ticket. Again, we can not guarantee that every guest will go to Open Queue so it's always best to try and get a VQ ticket if you can.
